Cruis'n World is an arcade-style racing game developed by Midway and released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998. It's the sequel to Cruis'n USA and the second game in the Cruis'n series. The game lets players race exotic cars across 14 international locations, from Hawaii and Egypt to China and Russia, each filled with wild jumps, shortcuts, and over-the-top scenery. Known for its fast-paced gameplay, colorful visuals, and arcade roots, Cruis'n World features multiple modes including Championship, Practice, and Multiplayer. Players can perform stunts like flips and wheelies to earn extra points, and unlocking new cars and countries adds replay value. The N64 version also supports up to four players in split-screen mode, making it a fun party game despite its simplistic controls and rubberband AI. While it’s not a realistic racer, Cruis'n World delivers a fun, flashy, and nostalgic racing experience that's true to its arcade heritage.
