Manhunt 2 (PS2) is a psychological horror stealth game developed by Rockstar Games. A sequel to the controversial Manhunt, it follows the story of Daniel Lamb, a former scientist at a secret government project, and Leo Kasper, a mysterious and violent figure who helps Daniel escape from a mental institution. After the breakout, Daniel struggles with amnesia and tries to uncover the truth about his past and his involvement in a covert government experiment known as The Pickman Project. As the story unfolds, the line between reality and delusion blurs, revealing shocking truths about Daniel’s identity and the brutal nature of Leo’s influence. Gameplay focuses on stealth, with players sneaking through environments and executing enemies in increasingly violent ways. Due to its graphic content, Manhunt 2 faced censorship and controversy worldwide, especially for its portrayal of psychological instability and extreme violence. The PS2 version features slightly toned-down visuals compared to the original, uncut PC version, but retains the game’s core mechanics and dark narrative.
